Chicken Teriyaki Bowl

An absolute family favourite, which is so quick to prepare and packed full of nutrients for our bodies to thrive!

 

INGREDIENTS  (serves 1)

70g cooked brown rice

150g chicken breast fillet, poached, grilled or steamed

225g broccoli florets steamed

½ cup of avocado, sliced

1 spring onion, thinly sliced

 

TERIYAKI SAUCE (serves 4)

4 Tbs tamari sauce

2 tsp sesame oil

2 tsp stevia

1 tsp grated ginger

Dijon mustard

Himalayan sea salt & ground pepper

 

METHOD

  1. Prepare Teriyaki Sauce
  2. Place the rice, sliced chicken, broccoli and avocado in a bowl.
  3. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and spring onions and drizzle with Teriyaki sauce.

 

Tip: Use any other vegetables that your kids enjoy! Grated carrot, capsicum and cucumber. More colour the better.
